What Does this blood Test Result Mean?

Hello,
My bloodwork revealed high levels of SGOT (52), SGPT(110) and Gamma GT (82). I've been tested for hepatitis A,B and C (i don't have any of them).
I don't drink alcohol and i have a low fat diet. While my cholesterol levels have decreased since my last tests, SGOT, SGPT and Gamma GT have increased.
What can this indicate?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
High levels of SGOT and SGPT suggest injury to the liver cells or hepatocytes.
Injury to the liver cells can occur due to viral infections, drugs, toxins, etc.
Alcohol is another agent which causes damage to the liver cells.
Elevated gamma GT levels along with elevated SGPT and SGOT levels suggest obstruction to the external biliary apparatus.
An abdominal ultrasound is suggested to look for any abdominal mass or any other abnormality.
These enzymes can get elevated due to drugs also.
If there is history of drug intake, you need to get the drug reviewed by your physician.
